Who the site is for
Just Divorced Singles is for adults who are separated or divorced, many of them parents, and it is written mainly for people in the US and the UK. Some members separated last month; others have been divorced for years and are only now thinking about dating.
The site doesn't ask anyone to hurry, and nobody needs a final decree to join. What we do ask is that you're honest in your profile about where things stand. A sentence or two is enough: how long you've been apart, whether you live separately, and whether a divorce has been filed.
The name has been online since at least 2013 as a place for divorced singles to meet. In 2026 the website was rebuilt from scratch, with the old filler pages removed and replaced by guides that answer the questions people actually ask after a marriage ends.
What the site is, and what it isn't
Just Divorced Singles is a dating site with a set of practical guides attached. It is not a law firm, a counseling service or a matchmaker. This table sets out the difference.
| It is | It isn't |
|---|---|
| A place to make a profile and meet other separated and divorced adults | A matchmaking or introduction agency |
| Plain guides on readiness, children, money and safety | Legal, financial or therapeutic advice for your situation |
| Clear about what's free and what's paid | A source of member numbers or success stories |
| Part of a network of partner sites that share profiles | A closed community only of this site's members |
Who runs it
The site is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515), registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. Checkout shows the billing name that will appear on your card statement.
Account and billing questions go to the help center; the contact page explains which route to use for what. The checkable facts, from age rules to cancelling, are on one page: key facts.
How the dating side works
Joining, building a profile and browsing are free. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership, which renews until you cancel in Settings > Billing. The options are on the prices page.
Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network. That means members of other sites in the network can see your profile and message you, and you can see theirs. We say this plainly because it matters to people who would rather not be found by an ex; our safety page has suggestions for choosing photos and a username.
Photos are reviewed. What members write about themselves is not checked, and we won't pretend otherwise. An optional ID badge, provided by LEM Verify, shows that someone has matched a selfie to a photo ID.
The guides
Divorce brings questions that ordinary dating advice skips: when to tell the children, what a new relationship might mean for a settlement that's still open, how to date around a co-parenting schedule. Our guides to dating again answer those plainly, from knowing whether you're ready to dating someone who is divorced, and a separate section covers dating when you have children.
Divorce law differs between US states and between England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Pages whose main job is to explain the law are published only after review by a qualified family lawyer in the place they cover. Our editorial policy explains how guides are researched, sourced and corrected. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
What we won't claim
We don't publish member numbers, success stories or testimonials, and we don't describe profiles as checked or verified. Examples in our guides, such as sample profile lines or messages, are written by us and labeled as examples.
If you find something on this site that is wrong, tell us through the help center and we'll fix it.
Questions people ask
Who owns Just Divorced Singles?
Just Divorced Singles is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515) with its registered office at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. Membership is governed by the membership terms in the members area.
Can I join if I'm separated but not divorced?
Yes. The site is for adults who are separated or divorced, and nobody needs a final decree to join. Say where things stand in your profile, such as how long you have been apart and whether a divorce has been filed, so the people you meet aren't surprised later.
Is Just Divorced Singles free?
Partly. Joining, creating a profile and browsing are free. Reading and replying to messages, and some other features, need a paid membership that renews automatically until you cancel it in Settings > Billing. The prices page shows the current options.
Why might members of other sites see my profile?
Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network, which use one member database. Members of those sites can see your profile and message you, and you can see theirs. Choose photos and a username you're comfortable with anyone seeing, including someone you know.
