This notice covers the information website at www.justdivorcedsingles.com: the guides and pages you're reading now. Your dating profile, messages and payments are held in the separate members area at members.justdivorcedsingles.com, which has its own members privacy policy.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this website is High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515), registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. You can contact us about privacy through the help center.
What this website collects
Very little.
- No cookies. This website sets no cookies.
- No advertising or tracking. We don't run advertising, analytics or tracking scripts on this website, and we don't build a profile of what you read.
- Server logs. The website is a static site hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. This is used to keep the site secure (for example, to spot and block attacks) and running properly.
- Join boxes. If you type your email address into a join box on this website, it is sent straight to the members area at members.justdivorcedsingles.com/join so you can create an account. From that point it's handled under the members privacy policy, not this notice.
We don't ask for, and this website doesn't collect, anything about your marriage, divorce, children or finances. If you choose to share those details in a dating profile, that happens in the members area, under its policy. Remember that profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network; how it works explains what that means.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use server log data only to run, secure and fix this website. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working. We don't sell this data or use it for marketing.
Who else sees it
Vercel processes server log data on our behalf as our hosting provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data:
- UK and EU/EEA: under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it or ask us to restrict it.
- US: several states give residents similar rights, such as the right to know what's collected, to delete it and to opt out of its sale. We don't sell personal data.
Because this website holds so little, most requests about your dating profile, messages or payments are best sent to the members area through the help center. Send requests about this website the same way, and say that your request is about the information website.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to a regulator. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EU or EEA, contact the data protection authority in your country. In the US, you can contact your state attorney general.
Children
This website is for adults. The dating service is for people aged 18 or over (21 in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska and Wyoming).
Changes to this notice
If we change how this website handles data, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this notice first and change the date at the top. More about who we are is on the about page, and the rules for using this website are in the terms of use.
